Every dock renovation is different due to the aspects that you as the customer want or need replaced/changed. The number one aspect of a dock renovation is safety. Some docks may need all of the structural components replaced such as pilings, joists, and crossmembers, while others may just need to be refreshed aesthetically in terms of the decking material and/or color. Here at DDM we understand that everyone has an allotted amount that they want to or can spend towards renovating their dock which is why we work with you to find the solution that fits your price point the best.

As mentioned, we work with you to find a solution that fits your price point the best. Therefore, we offer many solutions to the same problem.
- Pilings - These are the most costly part of a dock which could mean it may not be in your budget to have them completely removed and replaced. consequently we also offer a less costly and just as effective method of securing rotted or decayed pilings with the use of SnapJackets.
- Dock Joists and Crossmembers - Removal and replacement of joists/crossmembers is a part of the renovation process that is determined after the decking has been removed, due to the differing amounts of stress and rot the boards have incurred over their lifetime. During removal and replacement of joists and crossmembers, it is possible that some of the old supports may be in condition fit to be reused. In other cases, it is necessary for all joists to be replaced in order to secure the structural integrity of the dock.
- Decking - Here at DDM we offer many different styles, colors and price points for new decking. We proudly install WearDeck and TREX, the two leaders in composite decking, that boast many available colors and style boards for installation. We also offer IPE wood decking and the more classic natural wood that has been used for decking for many years. With the options we have for you, we are more than confident that we can provide you with one that meets your expectations aesthetically and economically.
